Marilyn Jean Fanguy Babin, 74, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Denham Springs, LA died Thursday, January 13, 2011. Visitation will be from 6:00 Pm until 9:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 8:00 AM until service time on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.with Burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by son, Anthony W. "Tony" Babin and life partner Paul Autin, Denham Springs, LA, daughter, Susan Babin Duet and husband Archie, Houma, LA, three adorable grandchildren, Andrew Paul Duet, Jessica Marie Duet Martin and Jeremy Michael Duet.. She was preceded in death by husband of 47 years, Gerald A Babin parents, Paul Joseph Fanguy and Blanche Savoie Fanguy, in laws, David Babin and Lucille Rhodes Babin, two infant sons. She was a member of Brightside Catholic Church for the Deaf. She was a homemaker.
