Genevieve Stevens

Genevieve D. Stevens, a native of Citronelle, Ala., and resident of Houma, the youngest daughter of Mary Edith Daffron and William Clint Draime, born May 10, 1922, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by seven sons, Michael Leonard and wife, Sandra, of Gray, Joseph Charles of Kingsley, Mich., William Harry of Houma, Thomas Allen and wife, Lana, of Bayou Blue, Gerald Wayne and wife, Lisa, of Hampton, Ark., John David and fiancee, Robin Boudwin, of Houma, and Brian Christopher of Houma; six daughters, Patricia Dianne and husband, Eustice Pitre, of Houma, Jacqueline Louise and husband, Michael Regner, of White Plains, Ala., Linda Kay and husband, Larry Ward, of Madisonville, Norma Jean and husband, Robert Gautreaux, of Lockport, Mary Elizabeth and husband, Glenn Cradeur, of Houma, and Janice Elaine and husband, Michael Dupre' of Rankin, Texas; daughter-in-law: Gwen Stevens, of Houma; her grandchildren, Tamara Pitre Marcel, Craig Pitre, Nikki Pitre, Wendy Jenkins, Mark Regner, Brian Regner, Michelle Proper, Kristi Babb, Guy Hartwell Stevens III “Trey,” Melissa Stevens, Timothy Stevens, Maureen Stevens, James Stevens Jr., Jessica Verdin, Dawn Fournier, Colleen Lazaro, Larry Ward Jr., Brett Ward, Leslie Miller, Michael Stevens Jr. “Lee,” Jill Larzelere, Joseph Stevens, Amy Stevens, Katie Stevens, Daniel, J. Alcala; and great-great-grandchild, Emily Claire Fonseca; her parents, William Clinton Draime and Mary Edith Daffron; five sisters, Estella Marie Howard, Jessie Naomi Geiger, Elizabeth Pearl Callahan, Dorothy Lucille Heese and Margaret Alice Fore; and four brothers, Joseph Earl Draime, George Robert Draime, Paul Andrew Draime and James Augustus Draime.
