Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. He was survived by his son, Brad Defelice and wife Heidi, daughters, Caroline Defelice Montoto and husband Henry, Jackeline Defelice Leco and husband Mark, Carol Defelice Duplantis and husband Johnny, grandchildren, Danielle Morris, Samuel Parfait, Jr., Kandy Dorsey, Sydney Duplantis, Mark Leco, Jr., Christie Defelice, Bradly Defelice, Savannah Leco, Seth Defelice, Trey Defelice, Joshua Montoto, Christian Montoto, Kayleigh Defelice, Kora Defelice, great grandchildren, Tori Parfait, Jonathan Parfait and two on the way, brother, Johan "Joe" Defelice, sister, Elaine Defelice, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Florence Lodrigue Defelice parents, Walter Defelice and Marie Gregoire Defelice, brother, Walter Antoine Defelice and sister, Annie Walterine Foret, grandparents, Marie Lodrigue Defelice, Johan Defelice, Marie Gregoire, Adrianne' Gregoire . He retired in 2007 from Samanie packing. He was a member of the Clanton Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandkids. He loved his pet parakeets.
