Brenda Brooks Ramirez, 46, died Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was a native of Bogalusa, Louisiana and a resident of Donna, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Brooks Pena and Elizabeth Canfield; brothers, Bruce Carpenter, David Chauvin and Robin Crochet; sisters, Lisa Brooks, Marilyn Matherne, Sharon Carpenter and four (4) grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ruby Carpenter and sister, Annette Brooks Singh.
