Donald Witherwax, 71, a native of Woodlawn, LA and a resident of Houma, LA, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at 9:27 p.m. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Dupre Witherwax of Houma, LA; Son: Perry Witherwax and wife Robin of Houma, LA; Step-Son: Terry Pellegrin of Houma, LA; Daughters: Donna Powers and husband Brian of Omak, Washington Cynthia Mouton and husband Johnny of Crowley, LA; Step-Daughter: Lydia King of Houma, LA; Brother: Mark Witherwax of Lake Charles, LA; Sister: Jackie Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; 6 Grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren; and 1 Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by his Parents: Perry Witherwax and Beatrice Mott Witherwax Brothers: Johnny and Perry Wayne Witherwax. He served in the U.S. Army Veteran. He served in the Vietnam War. He was Baptist.
