Derrick Williams, Jr.

Derrick “D.J.” Frank Williams, Jr., 18, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 5:15 AM a few hours before his brother, Zane, Williams who passed that afternoon. He was a native and resident of Houma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM at Bourg Baptist Church. Services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Bourg Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, Derrick Frank Williams, Sr., mother, Catina Sevin Muster, step father, Corey Campbell, step brother, Willie Rene LeBouef, nephew, Malachi Melvin LeBouef, aunts, Sherri Williams, Sabrina Dupre, Rebecca Meier, Regina Authement, Uncle, Glenn Sevin, cousins, Tia and Jacob Williams, Misty and Brina Dupre, Megan, Shelby and Russel Meier, III, Ricky Dupre, Tori Authement, grandparents, Ruby and Willis Sevin and godparents, Toni Henry and Raymond Billiot. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxine and Frank Williams. Derrick loved football, video games and shooting pool. He was a senior at South Terrebonne High School and had recently enlisted in the Marine Corps where he would have begun boot camp in August. He received second place in a state competition in Machine Shop and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and girls. He was very comedic and well loved and very close and he and his brother Zane were very close. Derrick will be truly missed by all who knew him.
