Elsie Marguerite Benoit Bienvenu, 70, passed into the healing hands of the Lord at 4:39 PM on Monday, December 20, 2010. She was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December, 23, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Dale Anthony Bienvenu, Houma, LA, sons, Craig Anthony Bienvenu and wife Donna R., Houma, LA, Corey Francis Bienvenu and wife Barbara M., Gray, LA, daughter, Desiree' Ann Bienvenu Price and husband Timothy Thomas Price, Chauvin, LA, grandchildren, Angelle M. Price and fiance' Trey M. Domangue, Ariel M. Price, Caitlin Bienvenu Boudreaux and husband Mike, Joshua M. Bienvenu, Ty A. Bienvenu, Jessica Kelly Matherne and husband Travis, Shane Kelly and wife Megan, Megan Kelly, Seth M. Falgout and Kimberly A. Falgout, great grandchildren, Ethan M. Matherne and Alyssa K. Matherne, brother, Chris Benoit, Sr., Houma, LA, and sisters, Patricia Benoit Baio, Houston, TX and Cassandra Benoit Ledet, Thibodaux, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nuel N. Benoit, Sr. and Elsie Kaul Benoit, twin brother, Nuel N. Benoit, Jr., and sisters, Dorothy Benoit Bergeron, Yolanda Benoit Thibodaux She retired from South Louisiana Electric Co-Op and was a parishioner Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed camping and traveling.
