Douglas Baker, Sr.

Douglas Albert Baker Sr., 73, a native of Wheatridge, CO and resident of Bayou Dularge, LA, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2017. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Eloi Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00PM and internment in St. Eloi Cemetery. Douglas is survived by his sons, Douglas A. Baker Jr. and wife Janet and Allen L. Baker and wife Delia; sister, Judy Betts; grandchildren, Ashley Baker Brumfield and husband Joshua, Amber Baker, Matthew Baker, and Austin Baker; and great grandchildren, John Paul, Marie and Benedict. Douglas is also survived by his loving companion Annie LeCompte. Douglas is preceded in death by his wife, Wendolyn Marie Hebert Baker, and parents, Allen C Baker and Wilda Lucari. Douglas proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. His passions were his family, church and fishing. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
