Christopher "Chris" Trahan

Christopher “Chris” Trahan, age 35, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2017 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at a later date. Chris is survived by his wife of twelve years, April Landry Trahan; daughters, Alyssa, Caitlyn, and Lexsey Trahan; parents, Tim and Maura Trahan; brothers, Andre and wife Simone Trahan, and Bryson Trahan; nieces, Avery and Zoey; maternal grandmother, Haydee Theriot; paternal grandmother, Clara Brunet; Chris is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ruble Theriot, paternal grandfather, Albert Trahan; mother and father-in-law, Zenobia and Donald Landry; and brother-in-law, David Landry. Chris was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was hard-working and a great provider to his family. Chris enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers, a memory that will be cherished by his family. Chris loved his family with all his heart and adored his three daughters. He worked as a Technician at Edison Chouest for several years. He was a parishioner at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Chris will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Trahan family.
